I am a lecturer at the University of Michigan in Ann
Arbor teaching German. I also teach Marathi (my native language) to a
small group of kids at home. I love running as much as I love teaching.
My daughters, ages 5 and 7, hope to join me soon in my running!
Why am I running a marathon?
To put it in George Mallory's words: "Because it is there."
Why run for Asha? So many kids in India are still deprived of a decent
education. Asha is doing a great job by helping underprivileged kids
in India getting education.
