Why : Raise funds and awareness for Asha Ann Arbor.

What : Five kilometer charity run/walk.

When : Sunday, September 14th 2008, starting at 9:00 am.
All participants should be at the site from 8:00 am until 8:40 am to get your race packets (includes a race number) and light breakfast.

Where your money goes : Directly to the project(s) Asha Ann Arbor supports. On average, twenty dollars can cover basic education needs such as books, meals and teaching cost for a child for one whole month. Asha Ann Arbor is entirely driven by volunteers and hence has no administrative costs.

What’s in for you : You will have the satisfaction of helping us help children in need of a basic education in India. Besides, running/walking is good for your health, and you get to meet others who share your interests. First 50 people to register will get free T-shirts. The first two male participants and the first two female participants to finish the race will receive gift baskets.

Stride With Asha is a US Track and Field sanctioned event.

Registration cost is $20.
