Dear Sri Ramakrishna,
Ref: Request for extending your financial assistance
to our School to our Annapurna scheme.

This is with reference to the visit of Sri. Shanmugam of ASHA, Arizona, to our
school on 13-06-2000 who spent his valuable time seeing the various
activities. We were very much pleased to have him amdist us. He advised us to
appeal to your institution for further help to Annapurna scheme. We apologise
for the delay in doing so. We are highly grateful to you and to your
institution for the timely help extended to us last year to our Annapurna
Scheme.
With the result, we are able to feed about 100 poor and deserving children.
The Rotary Club of (South west) Bangalore have kindly donated the cooking Gas
equipment to our school and we are personally supervising the preparation of
food and serving we are feeding about 100 children 4 days a week. approximate
cost works out to about Rs.600/- per day, Rs.10,000/- per month and about
Rs.1,00,000/- per annum. The programme goes from June to March. Your
father-in-law Sri. M.K.Srinath is in constant touch with us in many other
ways.
We request you to extend your financial assistance this year also to enable to
us to continue our Annapurna Scheme and to help the poor and needy students of
our school.
