Asha for Education is a secular organization dedicated to change India by focusing on basic education in the belief that education is a critical requisite for socio-economic change. Asha has supported more than 800 different child education projects allover India. Asha has disbursed nearly $15,000,000 to projects in last 16 years. In 2008 alone, Asha chapters raised and disbursed more than $3,000,000 to over 300 projects. Hi All! I am a Graduate Student in ME at Georgia Tech. I shall be participating in the 2009 Atlanta Half Marathon on behalf of ASHA.
