Atlanta Half Marathon 2010
Asha for Education is a secular organization dedicated to change India by focusing on basic education in the belief that education is a critical requisite for socio-economic change. Asha has supported more than 800 different child education projects allover India. Asha has disbursed nearly $15,000,000 to projects in last 16 years. In 2008 alone, Asha chapters raised and disbursed more than $3,000,000 to over 300 projects. I love running because running makes me feel happy, makes me feel anything is possible, helps me improve my fitness, helps me make new friends, etc etc. But now I have a new reason to run. I am running to bring hope (Asha) to under-privileged children in India. I am planning to run the Atlanta Half-Marathon during Thanksgiving with the Asha group.
