Asha for Education is a secular organization dedicated to change India by focusing on basic education in the belief that education is a critical requisite for socio-economic change. Asha has supported more than 800 different child education projects allover India. Asha has disbursed nearly $15,000,000 to projects in last 16 years. In 2008 alone, Asha chapters raised and disbursed more than $3,000,000 to over 300 projects. Long distance running newbie. What started as a stress buster activity as I'm trying to wrap up my MS in 3 months, has now snowballed into an exciting adventure. And what better way to achieve something than supporting a great cause! I'm excited :)

After 13 weeks of training, completed the Atlanta 1/2 marathon in 2.22.20 (Nov 25 2010).Fundraising goal $500 completed. Yaay!
