1. Fundraising discussion – Murali
− How do we find out about sales tax for selling merchandise? Bhaskar will try to look into this requirement
− Take a class at UT? Ganesh worked for Engineers for a Sustainable World. Requires getting approval from all the departments and UT
− Business schools encourage students to take up projects with non-profits. One of the students from the b-school was going to help.
− We again discussed having Asha open a bank account at UT, which can help apply for Coop grants
− Reaching out to other organizations: Present Asha to other UT organizations
− Do we need a fundraising team? Murali suggested we need at least two people to help come up with ideas. Send an email on the list to find out the interested volunteers

− Paddy fields were dry. Dont use cluster farming, but plant individual seeds.
− They recently built a small wooden bridge near the entrance to cross a trench, which gets flooded during the rains.
− Savitha to work on uploading a map of the resource center - to publicize the model farm.
− The pictures show everything to be very green, in spite of it being the dry season
− After dinner they chatted with people from resource center, project Freedom, Kuvempu and also with the Sarpams

3. Updates from Khusboo Welfare Society
– Ranga
− Mohit will visit the school when he visits
− Saurabh wrote his site-visit report and the first disbursal has been made.
− Ranga will upload the documents and send them to the group.
− Showed pictures of the products made and sold by the children
4. Newsletter – Ganesh
− Ganesh created a new newsletter and there is a quarter page left to fill up. Need some content for it.
− Ganesh will send out the newsletter to the group once it is done
