1)Marathon - Fundraising action items
1. Should have a fall marathon?
- Will be difficult to keep following up with people.
2. Create CD for next marathon program.
3. Santhosh getting video from DP. One DVD with collection of diferent Asha videos.
4. Playing ads during Indian movies in Austin. Will ned to give a 35mm reel. Sanjeev can check with Joshua for 35mm.

2)Recruiting new volunteeers
Sanjeev mentioned points from Justin (moveon.org)
- don’t assume that ppl will not volunteer, ask

- believe in what we are doing
- be persistant
- 4Cs
  - Connection
  - Context
  - Commitment
  - Catapult - give the new volunters some action items

3) Last week's action items:
1. Matching donations - Anita to follow up.
2. Checks - Santhosh to mail group.
3. Fundraising template emails - send on group.

Projects:

1) Banyan Updates and Proposal discussion - 30 mins.

Banyan update from Santhosh. USIS gave Rs.6 lakhs grant (Vandana applied for the grnt). This grant is expiring soon. Everyone to read up the update from Banyan , so we can discuss their requirements for the coming year.

2) Tsunami Proposal from Siddamma - finalize proposal with information - 30 mins.
Arvind to get breakdown of houses from Jignesh.


3) ASS updates/funding requests - 30 mins.

1. Need dimensions and specifics of tin shed.
2. We need to know what the cost is.
3. What are the school supplies that need be stored ?

1. We will look into play material procurement.

NOTE: Vallabh had sent a proposal for a library with reading material for all IFG schools. Need to check on this to see if play material will be included.

VOTE: Asha Austin Approves $184 each for ASS and BJSA.
