- What does the skills instructor do?

- What does the coordinator do? Why does she need the mobile?

- Number of people in the vocational training unit? 45 women in workshop and 25 women working in-house, total of 70

- The main question is how we distinguish between women in training and women starting full-time work

- Why is it Rs 400 per person for the in-house residents working at Banyan

- Need to decide between supporting one stream more completely (like tailoring) or support multiple streams.

- What will happen to the units next year if they do not have a grant?

- How much does each sewing machine cost? Currently they have 10 out of which 9 are second hand

- Need to make it clear to them – we are supporting the remaining expenses for this year - but it may not be guaranteed for the future

- What happened to the other units last year?

- Continue support for the tailoring unit and fixed expenses for the other units

2. Movie event

- Need to fix a movie - Sarkar, Taxi 9211,

- Should we do an Information session after the Mela?

- Check parks (IF fields) if they are open beyond 10 - Harpreet

- What is GAMA? Figure out - Gaurav

MOVIE: New movie (not screened in Austin) to be decided in June

(Need to figure out if food can be sold)

3. Marathon

Features to add:

- Add in flyer - You can take a vacation trip in December and still train

- We pay for registration fee for races - Motive, Runtex, Freescale

(150- race registrations + T-shirt, 150- Rogue registration)

Publicity:

- Displays in grocery stores and other places

Stretching clinic:

- Gaurav will lead the clinic (?)

Action Items

- Santhosh to do one poster board

- Ashwini/Arvind to put it up in Taj

- Ashwini - to let everyone know about other locations/Events to publicize

- TV advertisement - Asha wide follow up

- Si Labs - Sanjeev to coordinate.
