- number of children have increased from 40 to 60
- no info on the new 20 children yet
- sewing center going well (18 girls have started working)
- need to have a donor conference call [Gaurav]
- have sent $885 and $850 last yr
- need send a check soon for the remaining amount [Gaurav/Anita]
 
New for 2005-06
- add 5 more centers
- add 2 more sewing centers
- mid-day meals
- honey-making (bee-keeping)
 
Budget:
- 15 teachers @ Rs1500/mo [still not at minimum wage]

- how did the children fare last year? can we get progress reports?

- what do they do in their current programs (in 90 villages)
- we need to get an understanding of what the organization is about
 and what they are about?
 
- get a break up of children?
- is the school run everyday?
- are mid-day meals offered every day instead of only on school days?
- is Rs 9 high? what are the details?
- how many children (40->60, budget for 70)
 
- where do they get the sewing machines from?
- what is the current status of the center and what do the girls do
 after the training?
- what is the end-to-end process [raw materials-to-sales]?
- would they need the center for a long time after the girls are
 trained? do they move centers?
 
- whois the supervisor?
- office rent is separate... need to clarify with the Ph/Fax/Comm.

2. ICC I-Day celebration update: [Ruchika]
- aug 20th 5:30p -- 7:30p (dinner) and the program ($8 tix)
- dances, drama, speeches etc.
- sell 40 tickets for them and in return Asha go on stage for 3-5min
- they need to find out by aug16th..
- script for the talk: sac and/or workanhour
