Meeting at Harpreet's place.

Nandlal Fellowship - Gaurav went through a presentation about Nandlal and
his work. Please take a look at the following link for this information:
Questions:
- How did Nandlal come in touch with Asha Trust?
- Which schools are they seeking recognition for - day or night schools?
- How many schools is Asha Chicago supporting?
- Volunteers, how much time they spend and how are they supported for their
livelihood?
- How many children who were in the schools are now part of Lok Samati?
- How many volunteers are women? What do women of this age do?
- Night schools, are there any women?
- Name of the organization for women? Why are they different?
- Get scripts for the plays that they put up?
- How are they documenting the surveys? Santhosh is going to help with the
- Dharna, how effective is it and what are they planning to do to get a
reaction from the people.
Questions about the fellowship program:
- Is the fellowship program supported by a chapter or common pool of funds from chapters?
It's supported by the chapter
- If Asha Austin approves the program is there anything else that needs to be done?
There is no other approval that is required, we work on it as we work on our projects.
- How long do we commit to support the fellowship?
The fellowship is generally at least for a period of 4 years. After this the chapter and the fellow will try to figure out what needs to be done.
- If the fellow gets other sources of funding what happens?
If a fellow receives support and do not have expenses they let asha know and we can continue working with them non financially.
