  1. Asha introduction & updates by sanjeev
    1. Introduced team members and their responsiblities in brief
    2.  Asha austin chapter project updates - SAC (Support a child) and other developmental projects.
    3. Explained about the process and project proposal review.
    4. Answered questions about exit strategy,monitoring projects,conditons for project proposal accpetance/rejection
  2. Event coordination -updates by Radha
    1. previous events so far - Play&help,Strides of hope (marathon event), ICC (children days event), Film fest event ,stalls @barsana dham
    2. Good exchange of ideas from newcomers
    3. Indian fine arts combine with Asha to do some charity event or share of their revenue from this event to Asha - Contact Nagarajan IFC , Time frame (Nov-Dec)
    4. Theme based Painting exhibition or event for awareness as well as fund raising. Sukant to contact painters from India ,works with local austinite, work with all other such orgs around austin
    5. India-Pakistan cricket match screening -CMU-ICA hosted this event , made greater profit & publicity. Rajiv presented this idea .
    6. Tennis tournament /Badmitton/Cricket tournament- need lot of volunteers
    7. Work with Longhorn cricket club to host some events with us
    8. Local Fusion groups concerts , non indian groups etc
    9. Work few hr of volunteer effect to few compaines as Website maintanence or Working on some engineering project etc , contribute the money raised to Asha
  3. Site visit report -By santhosh on "Banyan" project
    1. Presented Site visit report on March 2005 to "banyan" home for mentally destitute women
    2. Asha planned to raise funds for Vocational training like Block printing or Bakery works.
    3. Santhosh presented photos of their present work like Cooking,Weaving,artworks,painting & block printing etc
    4. awaiting for new proposal doc for "bakery works" from Banyan
  4. WAH - Work an Hour updates - by Sriram
    • Explained about WAH projects, Austin chapter reviewing different projects all over Asha to help them raise funds.
