Asha-Bangalore

Asha-Bangalore is a chapter of both Asha for Education (501(c)3 certified in the US) and Asha Trust (80(g) certified in India). Asha-Bangalore is a completely volunteer driven group where individuals put in time (without compensation) to support initiatives that help the underprivileged. Asha-Bangalore efforts focus on education, though are not limited to it.

Asha ensures that 100% of donations go to support projects. Volunteers of Asha-Bangalore meet all administrative expenses with running the chapter.

Asha-Bangalore has no hierarchy, all volunteers and have an equal say in every activity of the group.

Asha-Bangalore meets on the first Sunday of each month at 11 am in Lalbagh. Details...

Spotlight - Support a Child

Asha-Bangalore has started a Support A Child program with long time partner Timbaktu Collective. Support education, food, lodging, healthcare expenses of a child for $32 or Rs.1450/month.
