Meeting Minutes

We had an admin meeting from 10 AM to 11 AM for treasury and marathon
program.
Action items for
treasury and administration
Santhosh:
- Create FAQ treasury
- Check with auditor if we can have e-receipts or
need the book
- Add Sanjeev as moderator of Asha-Bangalore
- Check how many minimum digits of bank account
are needed for unique identification for an EFT transfer form past
donor data
- Share finances with Ajay for marathon fund
raising
Sanjeev:
- Create form for responding to EFTs
- Create query for all runners database donations
online
- Stewards to fill out a checklist for disbursal
through Indian Rs.
- Need to ensure that
- Minutes of approval are available online
Previous receipts are given to treasurer
Info regarding disbursal is updated on the website
Ensure meeting announcements and meeting minutes are post on
asha-bangalore.
Anita:
- Create mail merge for automating receipts if
auditor is fine with it
Ajay:
- Find total amount raised by each runner via
checks, cash and EFT
Vikram is a photographer and would like to help in showcasing Asha’s
projects. He can help us create a calendar. He is ok with traveling
during the week to projects.
Timbaktu Badi
We discussed Timbaktu Badi SAC program briefly to bring it to vote on
the point of 4 month support till the SAC program covers support for
all the kids. We have 15.5 lakhs currently and need 10 for Sita School
and CRC (Sita -3.5, CRC – 6.5). We sent funds to Thulir till Nov 2011
and will only need to send an increments (based on their revised
budget) in July. So we have enough funds to support TB for 3-4 months.
Vikram knows someone who might be able to give a wood work contract for
Montessori materials – need to follow up with Vanya and contact.
Team Asha marathon
program
- We decided on coordinating one run in our projects. It will be in
Oct. We will let the runners know early so they can plan it out.
- Check with Timbaktu if they are ok with the run – Sanjeev
- Organize one fundraising workshop
- Events like Team Asha 4k/8k will be done only if runners volunteer to
do it.
- Team Asha marathon program requires a webmaster for maintaining
runners pages, etc- Balaji
