Attendees: Sanjeev, Anita, Sanketh and Santhosh.

* An introduction on Sita School was given.

* We then discussed various aspects of the budget (approx 10% increase)- Main changes are -
   - Teacher salaries
   - Major repairs
   - Food costs

* Asha Silicon Valley will consider support of 80% of the last year's support which will amount to Rs. 1,61,600. (Please note that this will be second disbursal, subject to approval by Asha SV)

* Sanjeev: How many kids? We have about the same number as last year. A few new kids have joined and the numbers are maintained.

* Sanjeev: Can we get an idea of the implications of the exact draft rules of Karnataka on Sita School? This will give us the basis for future course of action contemplated by Sita School.

Action Item: Santhosh to follow up with Jane to find out aspects of the draft rules that Sita School will find tough to meet and will not be in a position to ascribe to.
NOTE: Sanjeev felt this information is not required for him to vote on the current proposal.

* Sanketh: Why can't we seek corporate support to directly fund Sita School and we be involved in other ways than funding? A discussion followed and many examples from past experiences of Asha Bangalore were given. Also, projects might not be comfortable with the arrangement and would prefer to be engaged with Asha Bangalore rather than an institutionalized funding agency.

* Vote: Asha Bangalore approves support of Rs. 4,10,000 towards Sita School's Annual running expenses.

(Please note that at this point a 6 month disbursal of Rs. 2,85,800 will be sent to Sita School. Around Dec 2011/January 2012, the second disbursal of the annual requirement will be sent along with Asha SV's support)
