1. Work an Hour (WAH) 2007:

Theme: Stop Child Labor

We need to flyer for WAH: Berkeley and South Bay – Naz, Taste of Himalayas, etc etc

E-flyer is ready. Paper flyer is still being worked on

Barnali suggests looking into a spot on KPFA (also a good idea for IOI)

Also look into KQED

Is San Francisco chapter going to help with publicity

Libraries also a good place to flyer at

Talk about WAH for the next meeting

Sandipan volunteers to look at child labor statistics and present them

Berkeley supported the project from 2002-04. Seattle has funded it also

Got 8,000 from DC and Cornell ($4,000 from each)

Propose the project to SV – Cornell and Dc should get in touch with SV to explore options

Get Anitha on Asha Fundraising – for post IOI options

Anand and Urmila will also join and provide summaries to the rest of the group

Need someone to attend conference calls

6. General Announcement

Anybody (Indian Citizen) can file a Right to Information Petition – even from the US

Can be a tool for Project Stewards for things such as FCRA clearance
