(A) Gyandeep Update: Pooja.

Proposal Form.

Presented funding details for this year. Currently, there are 3 centers serving 90 children.

Questions 1. What is the time allocation of teachers across the three centers and how are they commuting between these centers? 2. Where is the funding for the sewing machines coming from? 3. They mentioned educating the villagers about RTI. Where do they obtain content?

Approved funding for this year 1,34,000 (~ 3094 dollars).

(B) ARC proposal: Nandini

Proposal summary Chapters raising more than 2000 dollars for WAH will have the option of requesting these funds for their own chapter. In such a case, chapter will be given money from Asha wide funds.

Questions 1. Need more details about communication and travel expenses. 2. Can we check with Asha D.C what they are funding for this year? 3. More explanation about report writing mentioned on the proposal

(D) Aseema’s site visit and project proposal update: Kamal and Hemanth.

Site Visit Report.

The school is being run by Kamal’s aunt. They acquired land for the construction of new school. Some of the students from the existing balwadi will be moved to this new place. Plans are also in progress to install solar panels and rain water harvesting.

Questions 1. Need clarification about which school the funding will go to? 2. If proposed budget is for new school, then we don’t need to fund the children who are moving from old school to new one. Need confirmation on this?
