Want to become a SAC sponsor?
Before proceeding with your donation, we ask that you provide us some important information by
completing the online sign-up form.
Donations to SAC can be made on a monthly (recurring), semi-annual or annual basis.
(To ensure that the project has a steady access of funds and that there is no interruption in
the child's education or basic needs, we encourage sponsors to make semi-annual or annual lumpsum donations.)
Donation options are as follows:
All donations made are in Canadian Dollars and can be payed by credit card or cheques (instructions given below).
Please note that we accept cheques only for semi-annual and annual payments. Monthly payments must be made by
credit card at our secure online donation portal provided by Canadahelps.org.
All donations are tax-deductible in Canada. Donors paying by credit card will automatically receive a tax-receipt
via e-mail upon completion of their transaction. Donors who send us a cheque will receive their tax-receipt by mail
within 4-6 weeks of receipt of donation.
To donate by credit card, please follow these instructions carefully:
Credit card payments are processed through our online donation portal at
canadahelps.org
(a secure and reliable online donation service, run by a non-profit charity, serving over 83,000 Canadian charities).
Please note that Canadahelps deducts a nominal 3.9% administrative fee on every transcation. A payment of $25 from you (the sponsor) will result in a $24.02 donation to Asha Canada's Support-a-Child program.
To donate semi-annually ($150) or annually ($300), please select "One-time donation" in the "Donation Frequency"
field and select "Support-a-Child" in the drop-down menu of "Fund Designation"
To donate monthly ($25/month), please select "Repeating donation, deducted monthly from my credit card"
in the "Donation Frequency" field and mention "SAC" or "Support-a-Child" in the "Message/Instruction" field.

To donate by cheque, please follow these instructions:
Choose the amount you want to donate - $150 (semi-annually) or $300 (annually).
If you are donating semi-annually you can choose to send a second post-dated cheque, dated for six-months after the first payment, along with your first cheque.

Asha for Education Canada (Asha Canada) is a non-profit organization that is registered as a charity (registration # 860916774RR0001) with the Canada Revenue Agency.
The objectives of the organization are to advance education and relieve poverty by:
providing or improving educational programs and facilities for needy children and adults in India; and,
providing housing, food, clothing and other basic amenities to needy children and adults in India.
Asha Canada is the Canadian arm of Asha for Education, whose stated mission is "to catalyze socio-economic change in India through education of under-privileged children."
