Asha for Education's marathon training program is an innovative fundraiser initiated in 2000. Participants experience the unique challenge and inspiration of training for and running a marathon, while raising funds for basic education in India. It is a true opportunity for tremendous personal accomplishment and a tangible contribution to the cause that can be taken up by people of all abilities.
The Chicago chapter of Asha is organizing its first marathon program this year. We hope to help our runners train and run the marathon and raise over $12K for our projects in India.
