From Hyderabad/Secundarabad take the Bangalore bound Bangalore express to Dharmavaram. (there is another train that also stops at dharmavaram, and trains to ananthapur can also be used, but Shankar has found this to be convenient in the past). It leaves around 1900 hrs and arrives in Dharmavaram at around 0500. You can also take any Hyderabad or Delhi bound train from Bangalore and get off at Dharmavaram2. Take a local bus from the train station to the bus station. 3. Take a bangalore bound bus from Dharmavaram to Chenekothapalli. Buses start running around 0600. Directions by buses (from Hyderabad/Secundarabad or Bangalore):From Hyderabad/Secundarabad:1. Take a bus from jubilee bus station in secunderabad to ananthapur. Buses depart roughly every hour throughout the day and take roughly 8 hours to get to ananthapur.2. From the ananthapur bus station, take any bus going towards bangalore. These will stop at Chennekothapalli, which is on the highway, a couple of hours from ananthapur. Buses start running around 0600 hrs. 3. Get off at chennekothapalli and ask anyone for directions to the office of the timbaktu collective, roughly a five minute walk from the bus stop. (Note from Shankar: "I find it convenient to take the bus overnight from secunderabad, arrive in ananthapur early in the morning and take a bus to chenekothapalli.) From Bangalore:1. There are buses (at very good frequency) from Bangalore going towards Anantapur and Hyderabad. From Bangalore it takes about 4.5 hrs to get to Chennekothapalli (aka C.K.Palli), which is 50 kms from Anantapur. (The Bus Drivers make at stop at C.K.Palli upon request).2. Get off at chennekothapalli and ask anyone for directions to the office of the timbaktu collective, roughly a five minute walk from the bus stop. They have about 40 mattresses, sheets, pillows, blankets etc. The Hexagon has a big meeting space in the centre, kind of a "well". That's where the collective members usually hold all their meetings and training programmes.
