2nd Asha for Education Conference
Boston, MA 29-31 May 1999
Organizing Chapter
Asha - MIT
Rajesh Kasturirangan kasturi@ai.mit.edu
Asha Volunteers Welcome!
As a result of the uncompromising discipline
displayed by all volunteers over the last
8 years, ASHA is seeing a period of exponential
growth today. Forward-thinking people from
across the globe are forming chapters,
getting involved in projects and reaching out
to the far corners of India. An all hands meeting
has become necessary to effectively handle this
unprecedented growth in activity.
The basic principles will need to be revisited and
affirmed. Together we have to establish an efficient
decision making process that will represent all
and allow maximum involvement. Finally, for
Asha to flower into an inspiring movement, we
will have to come up with a roadmap and milestones
to reach.
This is a busy period in the Asha freeway
and exciting times are ahead. You are cordially
invited to the second national Asha
workshop at MIT, Boston.
Come and shape Asha's future!
