First Asha Europe Conference (April 24th & 25th 2004)

Aim

Primary aim of this conference is to bring together Asha chapters in Europe and also several NGOs working in the field of primary education.

We also hope that this conference will bring about a better interaction between chapters so that efficient organization of europe-wide fundraisers is possible.

Expected Attendees

- Members from Asha europe chapters
- Interested people from Rest of Asha (US, India etc)
- Non-Asha Organizations (NGO's, Charity Organizations..) who work
in similar areas
- Any interested individual who shares the ideals and beliefs

Duration and Details of the Conference:

- the weekend April 24th and 25th
- Start around 10.00 am on Saturday and go up to Sunday 1.30 pm)
- The meeting format will be informal.

Conference Format

- Conference will consist of set of topics of interest
- Each topic will be presided by a Chair
- The Chair-person will make a short presentation on the topic of interest and rest is left to the group for discussion.
- Each session will have a duration of 1 hr.
