Dance Classes

Dr. Brinda Mahadevan of Corvallis offers classes in Indian classical and folk dances. These classes are held once a week on Sundays. The kids taking these classes get to perform on stage two to three times a year and also they learn Indian Classical Dance. Please contact Brinda Mahadevan if you are interested.

Become Asha Member

Any member of the community, irrespective of national origins and gender differences, who has a strong interest and committed to work towards improving child literacy in India is welcome to join Asha, Corvallis. The meetings are held in the evening usually and an advance notice of the meeting is sent via email. Anyone interested in attending the meetings can join the mailing list by sending a mail to the President of Asha Corvallis.

Asha Committee consists of the President, Vice-President/Secretary, Treasurer, members of the Committee, and Project Coordinator as needed.

To become a voting member of Asha Committee, Corvallis, a person must have attended 3 of the past 6 meetings. An attendance roster may be maintained to enforce this criterion.
