ASHA DC CHAPTER - MARATHON 2008

Team Asha
Team Asha is Asha for Education's marathon campaign fund-raising arm. 2008 is Asha-DC's 5th annual marathon campaign. We provide a guaranteed entry for the Marine Corps Marathon. The success of our program has been based on a strong commitment from a dedicated set of coaches, a strong support structure developed for first time runners, and an inspiring cause.

History
We started with just 5 runners in the 2003 Marine Corps marathon and have grown every year since.

Team Asha has raised more than $150k in the past 4 years.
Trained more than 100 first time runners for the Marine Corps Marathon, Baltimore Half Marathon and VA Beach Half Marathon.
