Asha-Delhi Meeting minutes:

Date: 8th May 2005
Venue: Restaurant opposite IIT Delhi gate
Volunteers present: Shiv Mathur, Rohini, KirtiMalini, Rohit Sah

Items discussed:
1. Introduction: The new volunteers introduced themselves. A brief overview of Asha and Asha Delhi.  Shiv Mathur 
told the new volunteers about Sakshaar, which Asha Delhi is supporting.

2. Monthly Pledge Scheme: We still need to figure out our finances for next year.

3. Web site: Shubh has done a good job in updating the web site.  It was suggested that we should increase 
our web presence by providing links to Asha delhi site from other web portals especially Indiatimes.com. 
Shubh and Rohit to work on this.

4. Publicity- it was felt that we need to publicize ourselves little more so that we can get more volunteers. 
One way suggested by Kirti was to put up posters at India International center and book stores.  
Rohini and Rohit to work on this. Also it was felt that maybe we can take an ad out. 
Shiv Mathur to find out the feasibility.

5. Play materials for Sakshaar- Kirti suggested that we get in touch with Mr. Arvind Gupta, 
Pune who trains people to make play materials for children from ordinary things.  
Kirti to find out more from Mr. Arvind Gupta.  If possible we can send teachers from Sakshaar for training.

6. Site vists- site vists to Sakshaar and Kutumb foundation has been planned. Shiv Mathur will send the details out.

7. Projects- It was also suggested that we should look for projects in rural area in and around Delhi.
