Start/Finish: Belle Isle Nature Zoo Parking lot. Here is a

Route: The 5k Run/Walk takes place inside the park along the
scenic
route with beautiful views. Here is a map of Belle Isle with the route
highlighted.
The route starts at the intersection of Lakeside Drive and
Oakway Trail and follows Oakway Trail to join Riverbank Drive. The
route turns left on to Inselruhe Avenue to reach the half-way point at
the intersection of Inselruhe and Central Avenue. Then the route follow
West on Central Avenue (taking the Shadownook Street at the fork) all
the way to Lakeside Drive. The route finishes where it started at the
intersection of Oakway Trail and Lakeside Drive.

Directions
Parking
Limited parking is available in the Nature Zoo lot so
come early (and preferably carpool) to get spots here. Additional
parking is avaiable on Central Avenue and Riverbank Road. See this map.
