8:00 AM: Sign-in, Bib & T-shirt pick-up, Pledge drop-off
8:45 AM: Start Line Ceremony
9:00 AM: Official Start of the Asha 5k Run/Walk
10:00 - 11:00 AM: Finish Line Celebration

Parking
The participants of the 5K Run/Walk have to park in the West Boat
Launch Trail area. Kensington Metro Park charges $4 per vehicle at the
entrance.
- The suggested entrance to reach the West Boat Launch
Trail is Exit
151, Kensington Rd, on I-96 West. Follow the highlighted route past the
Toll booth.
- If you are coming from I-96 East, we suggest that you
take Exit 153
Kent Lake Rd, turn around to travel I-96 West and take Exit 151.
- There is an alternate entrance from Buno Rd if you
are coming from Milford/North (see map).
5k Info Group
After registering, you should automatically be added
to the Asha 5k Info Group. If, for any reason, you are
not on the list, please send a blank email to asha-detroit-5k-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
You will be kept informed about event details and any changes through
this list.
