Decision making structure in Asha for changes in Asha
    Sai has sent the proposal to Asha wide and to all 
    Asha coordinators Asha Detroit will dicuss this in

    brief next meeting and vote on it

Mrs.Ranu Mahanti will be putting up an Asha
Merchandize stall in the Orissa Sangam festival in
Detroit in July

Asha Basketball event will be organized by the Asha
Marathon group (other Asha volunteers will always be
there to lend an helping hand) and will be called as
the Asha Marathon Fundraiser - Basketball event

Facing East -
   Srini is to listen to CD & we have to send an email
in the chapter egroup to    get a view on how
successful the event raiser can be. We need to figure
out the cost of such a fundraiser. They have performed
in Ann Arbor in March. Sai has to figure out the total
cost.

WAH Update
    Srini gave us an update on WAH Projects Rankings.
Srini talked to Mr. Krishna Murali in GM & he said
that GM might be interested in putting some money into
an event like Tarangini.

A1) Purna Pragna issues: Shubh presented a brief
update on the existing issues 
based on Anita's email about SAC. Shubh talked to
Taraji this morning & gave 
three options.. 
1) If you are not comfortable at all, we'll scrap the
program next year.
2) You can hire some more teachers to assist her in
this administrative work.
3) You can hire one of the students (who has
completed) as intern to maintain 
the documents for SAC.

Taraji said that SAC is a real burden for them & she
wishes to discontinue. In
that case, Shubh is looking for other options for
donors. One option may be to 
tkae up SAC for some other project. Shubh has to work
on the communication to bedone with donors. We have to
look into intorducing SAC for Muskaan & we can
giveoption to the donors, if they wanna continue the
support a child.

Asha Detroit vision in terms of what projects to work
on, fundraisers, growing 
donor base, finances, what volunteers want to learn.

Latha suggested that we should prepare & present a
letter to companies like 
Pepsi for funding & discounted products at the end of
year (around November) so 
that it can be considered for the next financial year.
Srini & Latha are working on preparing a standard
draft for this kinda of letter & the companies we are 
looking at are Pepsi & Goodrich. Sai will join Srini &
Latha in these efforts.

Shubh has to get the cards which Annam will order
