is Asha Eindhoven ?
Asha
Eindhoven is a registered charity organization with the KvK
(Kamer van Koophandel, Reg. No. 17153540).
It is managed by a group of self-motivated volunteers based
in Eindhoven (organization chart) and in other parts in the
Netherlands. Asha Eindhoven is affiliated with Asha
for Education worldwide. There are over 40 chapters of
Asha all over the world.
Who does Asha support ?
Asha for Education
is a non-profit
organization committed to supporting education of underprivileged children in
India. Asha for Education began with the belief that socio-economic
development of a nation starts with the proper
education of the nation's children. It believes that education can break the vicious
cycle of poverty-illiteracy-unemployment-poverty, which is quite common in
developing countries.
How does Asha generate funds ?
Asha
Eindhoven, generate funds mainly through
charitable donations
from individuals and corporate. We also raise funds by organizing cultural events, movie shows,
fund-raising dinners and other fund raising events.
