Potential areas for research include:
Government expenditures and implementation
- What govt programs exist
- What are the impediments to effective use of govt funds
- How we can help in implementing some of these programs.
- It's possible that often the problems are simple bottlenecks or misunderstandings by local govt employee leading to lack of implementation.

Improved Community Awareness
- Efforts such as media, leaflets and brochures in local languages, education of doctors and parents, curriculum enhancements or extracullicular activities to promote mutual understanding, awareness, and respect.

Asha for Education is a non-profit organization dedicated to socio-economic change in India. We
believe that education is a critical element of socio-economic change.
In keeping with this focus,
our volunteers get involved in identifying, researching, owning, and sustaining projects that target
basic education.
