Pujita Krishna Jyoti is a freelance writer and Kuchipudi dancer from Hyderabad. She has been training under Dr. Anupama Kylash who in turn is a pupil of Dr. Uma Rama Rao. She has also received training from Dr. Vedantam Ramalingam Shastry, a Kuchipudi dancer from the traditional family, currently the Principal of the Siddhendra Kalakshetra in Kuchipudi village.

Pujita is an MFA student in the dance programme at University of California at Irvine, and is receiving training in modern dance, Spanish dance and choreography.
