Asha for Education Los Angeles is excited to host its Annual 5K Run/Walk to raise funds to educate underprivileged children in India. The 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, September 13th at Griffith Park, Los Angeles. Participants young and old run or walk a 5 kilometer (3.1 miles) route and raise money through pledged donations. Prizes are given to the fastest runners and top fundraisers.

100% of net proceeds from Asha's events go directly towards educational projects supported by the organization.

Asha has successfully fundraised money through the great support of our patrons and our donors. Asha for Education has been promoting education initiatives since 1991 when it was started by a group of students at UC Berkeley. Since 1993, the Los Angeles chapter of Asha has raised over 300 thousand dollars.
The Asha 5K Run/Walk is a great place to learn about our projects, to meet new people, to win great prizes and to get involved with a meaningful cause.
