hothe hi subhuha khoja the hai sare
(with the coming of dawn, they all disappear)
bankar athe hai shabnam phoolon pey
(only to reappear as dew drops on flowers?!)
 
Jagi hai *Asha* hum sub ke diloon mein
(In the depths of our hearts lies Asha)
sare jahaan mein phehalae yehi
