Volunteers in attendance: Kamal, Jag, Ranjith, Jigyasa, Satish, Sangita and Pallavi 

Volunteers Absent:  Cheran, Veni, Niveditha 

Synopsis:

The following was discussed during this meeting: kick-off approach and
preparation, introduction to the Leprosy Project and regular meeting
scheduling. 

Action Items: 

Operational Grant Hearing: [March 9-12]

   1. Ranjith to put together paperwork required/recommended for the hearing
   2. Jag will be communicating the fixed time for the hearing
   3. Pallavi, Jigyasa(unconfirmed), Jag and Ranjith will presenting at the hearing

 

Kick-off Preparation: [March 24, Saturday]

   1. Sangita to contact Telegu Association to ask how Asha-Madison Introduction
event could be presented to the association members at their get together
   2. Kamal and Satish to co-ordinate in the next week to develop promotional flyers.
   3. Jigyasa, Jag and Kamal to work on compiling poster(s)
   4. Pallavi to call Sai to ask for previous Asha Project write-up of any sort 
(to be included in the new publicity posters)
   5. Jag to search for Foam Boards that were used in the past for CRY
   6. Ranjith to work on merchandise arrangements
   7. Pallavi and Kamal to search for Asha documentary that was showed at the
last kick-off and also to search for “how asha works?” pdf that was used previously

 

Project Discussion: [March 18, Sunday]

   1. For the next meeting please read Leprosy Project Proposal emailed by Kamal
on March 4, 2007 (@asha-madison yahoo group) IMPORTANT!!!

 

Miscellaneous:

   1. Pallavi will call Pooja/Ruhi for information on: web access update,
 documentary video, merchandise and next conference call.
   2. IMMENSE enthusiasm and considerable interest shown by Kamal and Jigayasa
 (respectively) to arrange a fund raising Table Tennis Tournament sometime later
 in the semester.
