- Tentative ranking list of WAH proposals sent out earlier on Asha-V by
Manoj is confirmed by all. Irula Proposal is unanimously voted to be #13 on
the ranking list, since the Irulas had received WAH funding last year.
Moreover, the funding asked by the Irulas was for recurring costs which
could be funded through individual projects. Sai will send out mail to
Anand Raghavan with final list.

- Jaunpur Project Update: Manoj reads through translated letter given by
Dr. Sandeep Pandey wih replies to most questions that had been asked.
Translated letter was sent out on Asha-V (see  mail titled "Re:Bharatiya
Jan Seva Sansthan project in Jaunpur" dated 6/13. Some key questions still
unanswered; moreover it seems like the letter given in incomplete. Further
updates forthcoming.

- Regional Conference: Subbu proposes a neat idea- getting together with
AID-Minnesota, AID-Milwaukee, Asha-UIUC with Madison as the Center of
meeting. The conference will involve informal, but directed discussion. The
focus will be on efficient ways to collaborate and share resources. Being
relatively close to each other in terms of location, we need to work more
together. The conference is still in its nascent stages, with Sai
volunteering to coordinate the event.

- Sai proposes using Skits/Music/Art as a medium to propagate Asha's ideas
on Education. The skit will be made so that it could be improvised, with a
minimum number of actors and equipment/instruments. Of course, intense
discussions need to be held on the issues to be shown. NOt only will this
show our stance on certain universal issues, but also spread the name of
Asha in Madison.
All these ideas are very preliminary. We need to discuss our target
audience, what issues to show, where, how...in greater detail.

- Unanimous decision to meet on next wednesday (6/20) for a meeting to get
updated on Swarnirvar and GIRD.
