Asha-Madison tries to organize events both to raise funds for the projects that it supports, as well as to raise awareness about problems in India.

- Miles for a Smile: charity run event organized to raise funds for MBA foundation, a non profit organization for the diabled in India.

2004:
- Work an Hour 2004. WAH is Asha for Education's annual global online fundraiser. This year, WAH aims to raise $175,000 for six selected projects in Orissa, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu.
- Eye on India: a Film and Discussion Series

- Sangam: A Gathering: a concert featuring folk dances from across Asia and the Pacific.
2001:
- River Rites: a dance drama by Navarasa Dance Theater, featuring Aparna Sindhoor.
- Manthan 2001: a conference of the Midwest chapters of Asha, AID, Sankalp and IDS.

- Power to the People: a documentary videofest celebrating struggles for self-empowerment.
2000
- Enron in India: What They Said and What They Did: a talk by journalist Abhay Mehta, organized by Chingari and co-sponsored by Asha-Madison.
- An Indian Classical dance concert by Shoba Natarajan.
- Work-An-Hour 2000 was a grand success and raised more than $80,000!
- Understanding Poverty and What You can do to Alleviate it: a talk by Dr Balaji Sampath
- A lecture by Nafisa Barot, Director of the Gujarat-based NGO Utthan
