Tirthankar Mukherjee visited Madison to make a presentation organized by Asha-Madison on 28th May 1999. He works with the Swanirvar project in West Bengal, which has been funded by Asha-Madison since 1998 with support from the Returned Peace Corps of Wisconsin and the Share-and-Care Foundation.

Tirthankar Mukherjee is one of our primary contacts for the project. He made a brief slide presentation which was followed by a discussion on Swanirvar.
