Enable Stylesheets!
The Asha-Madison web site uses stylesheets and hence you need to enable stylesheet
support in your web browser if you want to see this web site in the manner it was
intended to be viewed. You can still browse the web site with stylesheets disabled
with full access to all the pages, but you may experience formatting problems.
In order to enable stylesheets, here is what you need to do for the particular web
browser you use. You may need to reload web pages after enabling stylesheet support.
- Netscape Navigator: Click on Edit, then Preferences, then Advanced. In the right-hand side of the options window, check BOTH the "Enable style sheets" and the "Enable JavaScript" checkboxes. Please note that you need to enable both stylesheets and JavaScript for stylesheets to work in Netscape. This seems to be a bug in Netscape's browser.
- Opera: Click on Preferences, then Document Appearance. Check the "Enable Document CSS" checkbox. If you have also checked the "Enable User CSS" checkbox, then you should check the "Document CSS priority" checkbox as well (unless you prefer to use your own stylesheet).
- Internet Explorer: In Version 4 of Internet Explorer, stylesheets seem to be
always enabled. In case you have problems with other versions, we suggest you click on View, then Internet Options, then the Advanced tab, and then search for a checkbox relating to stylesheets or CSS.
We try our best to make this web site viewable by all web browsers. If you experience difficulties or bugs, please e-mail the webmaster at asha@studentorg.wisc.edu.
