How Can You Help?

• Make a Contribution

Your contributions go a long way in bringing hope into the lives of children in India. In particular, your monthly contributions allow us to support many critical projects in the drive towards literacy in India. If you would like your contribution to be used for a specific purpose (for one of our ongoing projects, or for women's education, for instance), please let us know. All our donations go towards projects in India. Your donations are tax-deductible: Asha's tax id #: 77-0459884

There are two different ways in which you can donate to Asha - through cash or stock.

• Matching Donations

You can check if your company makes matching donations. Here's a list of companies that do.

• Volunteering

There are number of ways you can participate. You can become an active volunteer wherein you would regularly attend chapter meetings, take on various responsibilities such as co-ordinating projects, event organization, publicity etc.

You can be a events volunteer wherein you volunteer your time during fund-raisers, attend a few important meetings and keep in touch with the chapter's activities.

If volunteering will not work for your schedule, you can simply keep in touch with us, hear about our activities and the projects we support and give us your feedback. The Asha-Boston mailing list would keep you posted on our activities.

• Buy Asha Calendars

The 2005 Asha Calendars are on sale. All proceeds from the sale of these beautiful calendars go towards supporting grassroots educational projects in India. You can get previews of the calendar here.
