Asha
for education, Munich chapter
aims at supporting projects which can bring socio-economic
changes in a region. We always try to support local
entrepreneurs
who can effectively act as a bridge to bring socially and
economically underprivileged people into the mainstream
education. We strongly discourage projects which create any
parallel infrastructure. For example, we are more likely to
support a project which would help and train local children
to get into nearby government schools rather than a project
which would create a primary school from scratch. We
also try to support projects which have the capability of
becoming self-sustained with our initial help. The idea is
to support a project till it attains critical mass necessary
to keep it ongoing.
In
line with the above mentioned guidelines we are currently
supporting the following projects.
