Profile Hi, my name is Shouri: You will find more about me here and here. You can find my running calendar here. The New York City Marathon is an awesome experience. I ran it last year, with Asha's training, and with encouragement from all of you. While running, there were several things that kept me going. The thousands of people who came to cheer made me feel like the star of the day. The thought of little kids in India smiling when they get a new toy would give renewed energy to my tired legs. And the thought that all of you have supported and encouraged me would breathe new life into the sinews. I want to do it again. And luckily, once again I was selected in New York City Marathon lottery. I will be running 26.2 miles on Nov 7, 2004 and many hundred more before that while training. Please donate to the cause, bring a smile to the lips of many children who otherwise don't have a chance. |
