Projects

Seva Chakkara Orphanage
Seva Chakkara Samajam/Orphanage is a registered non-profit established in 1986 by Mr. A Velayudam as a voluntary service and charitable organisation with the object of uplifting the down-trodden, poor, handicapped, mentally retarded and destitute children through residential education. The main activities of this group include running a residential kindergarten & primary school and residential accommodations for orphans who are older. For more details, visit the project page.

Sarada Kalyan Bhandar
 Sarada Kalyan Bhandar is a registered non-profit, established in 1984. One of their goals is to encourage children to take up higher education by supporting them with a stipend. They also work with nine villages around Midnapur, West Bengal, and provide supplementary education for the children. They run a health awareness program and also provide health support for the children of the villages.

Asha for Education is a non-profit organization dedicated to socio-economic change in India. We believe that education is a critical element of socio-economic change.

In keeping with this focus, our volunteers get involved in identifying, researching, owning, and sustaining projects that target basic education.
