Sarada Kalyan Bhandar (SKB) is a womens' initiative in West Bengal. In
addition to running a complementary study center and a comprehensive
health care program, they
support higher education for young women. They provide the girls with a
stipend for their living expenses, college tuition and books - so that
they can pursue their dreams without having to worry about money.
Through Support-A-Child, you can directly sponsor the college education of
individual women. SKB selects these girls according to their
financial need and merit. To stimulate womens' higher education in rural
West Bengal, SKB supports everything that the student requires.
