Efforts on Educational Improvements

Since Dec 2000 , when Asha started working with Seva Chakkara we have taken many steps to help the children learn in a more fruitful and joyful experience. Here are a list of the more recent developments.

Sep 2003, Teacher training workshop provided by Asha Chennai.
Aug 2003,Tamil software donation Vel Micro Solutions Private Limited an organization that developes Tamil based softwares for better learning installed Tamil and Mathematical games in Tamil at the orphanage computers.
Aug 2003,Kathai-Aruvi Kathai-Aruvi a set of beautifully written four page laminated story books in Tamil were got for the children at the orphanage.
April 2003,Drawing Competition Organized Asha-Chennai organized a drawing competition in which the children of the orphanage participated and got an opportunity to hone their talents.
March 2003,Playing with Tangoes Asha volunteer visited the project and worked with the childrne to make different shapes with Tangoes.
