The owner of the house rented to Seva Chakkara also
managed to clear a connected godown to allow Seva
Chakkara to let the children utilize that area as
well.
Since the hall was constructed to be a godown it has
some drawbacks such as the lack of decent windows
(only ventilators), no fans, etc. But, the hall is
large and hopefully it will be more amenable with
some work. More importantly it has a terrace upstairs
which has a large area for children to run around and
have fun.
From my interaction with the younger children who always
lived at the orphanage and had no space to play is a
wonderful development. It now gives the younger children
an opportunity to release their energy.
