But, we will be supporting all the children through approximately the following guideline:
Education = Rs.2650/child/year x 72 children = Rs.1,90,800/yr
Food = Rs.7200/child/year x 72 = Rs.5,18,400/yr
Medical = Rs.150/child/yearx72 = Rs.10,800/yr
Orphanage Maintanance Expenses ~ Rs.2000/child/yr x 72 = Rs.1,44,000/yr
(includes rent, water, electricity, etc)

This covers pretty much the entire amount we can raise this year. I hope the four or five regular donors with the sporadic donors will sustain them for the other requirements. If there are any overflows then it will be used for the betterment of the orphanage resources including beds for children, investment in land for orphanage's own building, etc.

Status: We have 13 children who have been picked up and marked on the website, 5 others who are in the process of selecting a child and three more who have been picked up but not yet marked. We haven't even been campaiging too hard, so I am confident that the rest will also get picked with a little effort over the next few months.

The funding I am requesting from NYC/NJ is for making sure that there are sufficient funds to support all children are supported in the first 4 months of the SAC project. This is to make sure that there is no discrimination between children who are supported and who are not supported as discussed in our chapter. Apart from the amount to cover the remainder of the children, I am also requesting funding to cover an additional month for all children incase there is any break between donors for a child in years to come.

I expect all children to be taken up in 4 months, by end of Aug.

This is $20/child/month x 72children x 4 months = $5760. Amount already available as per last report = $1000 Amount requested from NYC/NJ = $4760.

An equivalent of the funds supported by the donors in this period will be used as backup to make sure that we have sufficient funds for running expenses.

I expect about 15 donors every month so by the time NYCNJ funding runs out we could have: May - 15 x $20 = $300
June - 30x$20 = $600
July - 45x$20 = $900
Aug - 60x $20 = $1200
Of the funds requested from NYCNJ not used in this period this would give a possible backup = $3000 to support the program and make sure that all children are always supported.

If at the end of the next year we still have > amount for 40 children in two months we can use these funds for other requirements of the orphanage.

I will request other chapters for funding for the computer institute and other non SAC components.
