• The Asha Philadelphia Brochure gives a brief overview of the chapter and its activities.

• The Asha Philadelphia Introductory Presentation (ppt, pdf) for new volunteers.

• Please download and go through the New Volunteer Packet. It gives an introduction to Asha for Education in general, the Asha Philadelphia chapter, it's projects, events and the various positions and responsibilities within the chapter.

• To visit one of Asha Philadelphia's projects in India, please get in touch with us through the contact section. You will need to fill out the Site Visit Template that can be found in the projects section.

• To visit any other Asha project, please look up the contact person for that project.

• If you would like to volunteer in India, consider our Internship Program or try several other organizations.

• To submit a project for funding, please fill out the Project Proposal document found in the Projects section and get in touch with via email at philadelphia AT ashanet DOT org.

The Asha Stars program offers a unique way to get involved with projects at an intimate level. It is a program where you, along with a group of like-minded individuals, take responsibility for a specific project. Asha Stars get first-hand understanding of issues related to development and see a project grow over time. With a secure source of long-term support, the project is able to strike roots and move towards self-sufficiency.
