Asha for Education obtains project proposals from organizations actively involved in social work in India through personal contacts in India and other individuals residing in the United States. Please complete and mail the following project proposal form to asha_pdx@yahoo.com. You do not have to be a volunteer to present a project for prospective funding.

  • Mahila Action
    Mahila Action is a non profit organization consistently working for the children and women in the slums of Vishakapatnam city to create awareness among women slum dwellers to take care of their children to ensure a better future for them. Asha supports the child education and development centre to benefit about 100 children directly and indirectly and also supports the skill development and vocational training to teenage children.

  • Navjyoti Sewa Sansthan
    Main Objective: To teach the children who are deprived of education. To ensure their moral and character development along with education. Asha Portland’s contribution: $3000
