How can you help us?

Make a Pledge
It takes only $25 to educate a child in India for a year so any amount of money that you can donate will be valuable to us. 100% of your contribution directly goes towards the projects, since all administrative expenses are borne by Asha Volunteers.

Become a Member
We hold meetings regularly in the Portland. Aside from assisting in fundraising and project administration, volunteers can help monitor projects when they visit India. Some activities you can participate in include the following.

  • You can choose to work closely with partner groups in India.
  • Provide technological support by maintaining our web site
  • Collect and research material that could be used by some of our projects.
  • Participate in disseminating information of social/developmental issues in India.
  • Participating in organizing fund raising events such as concerts, picnics, festivals etc. You can pursue your own ideas with help from other Asha volunteers.
  • Marketing products made by schools and communities in India.
  • Help build a steady donor base for Asha.
