Asha Princeton Home Information and Resources

Asha-Princeton, the chapter of Asha for Education at Princeton, New Jersey, was started in August 1998. Its members consist of students and professionals in the northern and central New Jersey area. The aim of the group has been to mobilize the substantial local Indian community to collectively support and provide financial assistance to grassroots level educational movements in India. We specifically target programs for basic education for under-privileged children in India. Asha-Princeton is a non-profit voluntary organization. The group only supports apolitical and secular organizations.

Find out about our regular meetings, where we examine project proposals, decide on their funding, evaluate the progress of projects, and also discuss fund-raising, events, publicity and other issues.
